Wishlist Shopping Service

Every collector has one particular item that is always sought after. Why not add it to your Flashback Wishlist, and let us look for it for you? When we locate it, we’ll email you with a photo and info. Currently, this service is purely manual, but we are building a website component to handle it for you.

Limited Repair and Tailoring

Our garments are offered ‘as is’ – that is, in the condition that you find them in on the rack. Generally we offer wearable items without major damage, however you may find a missing button or frayed hem here or there…we repair these in spare time. Should you wish to have your garment repaired or altered we are happy to help.  Pant and skirt hems, missing buttons, stabilizing torn linings, and re-working a too badly damaged item into a new wardrobe winner are all available as time allows. If we are unable to offer a particular service we will always do our best to recommend someone we would trust with our own garments.

Styling for Performers

Flashback has outfitted an incredible number of performers over the years from actors to bands. Rumors (we have to say rumors since we don’t have tangibles, but we have heard it from the original owner, Marsha Laine) have it that Lenny Kravitz, Guess? founder Georges Marciano, Miss Lavelle White, and more have shopped Flashback. Just this year we’ve seen MC Frontalot, outfitted and offered character styling tips to actors for Fronterra Fest performances, styled the entire cast of Wierd City Theatre’s Night of the Living Dead production, put together entire outfits for three local movie actresses, put a Cannes film festival Actress in an opening night gown, and sent a few West Coast television wardrobe stylists away with armloads of bags stuffed full of garments for current TV shows. Styling needs are not just limited to performers! We have also outfitted wedding couples, birthday girls, and party groups with fabulous, memorable outfits. And we look forward to helping you style the most incredible outfit, any time.

Bulk Vintage Sorting & Removal

If you have a bulk of vintage items that you would like to part with we are happy to help by coming to you, assisting with sorting, and purchasing the results of our labors. Particularly when dealing with the death of a family member, it can be overwhelming to look at a pile, or closet, or storage unit full of aging garments. We understand. Allow us to help you, sorting, finding the treasures you need to keep, and taking the rest away for a fair price.  Please schedule an initial consultation by phone or email, and we’ll visit with you to develop a plan that you feel comfortable with.
